Students can make a little wallhanging or picture to complete in the day, or start as an ongoing quilt. Arnolda has made a lovely nativity quilt using blue ‘red work’, but students can bring ideas for their own nativity scene, either doing separate four or nine-patch squares or one complete nativity scene. Red work angels also work wonderfully well, by putting a Christmas fabric between each block. Suitable for beginners or for the more experienced to develop their own piece.
