Sunday 28th September AND Sunday 26th October 10.00am - 4.00pm
One day set aside for a little quality time to either copy or design a simple machine pieced quilt, using mainly rectangular shaped strips, possibly flannel or recycled fabrics - even wool with the odd star, flower, dog or house if desired. Stayflex or Bondaweb can be used for the appliqué with decorative stitching to attach it. By the second day students will be ready for the quilting and finishing with bold stitches, buttons etc. Lots of exciting possibilities, ideal for beginner or more experienced, could even be hung as a door curtain.
