Students will be using hand and machine stitching to make ‘mixed media’ textile brooches, earrings, pendants or bracelets. Silks and precious scraps are layered and appliquéd, and metallic threads, wire, metals and beads ornament the jewellery and form a rich contrast to the thread and fabric. A wonderful way to be inspired by Karen’s lovely work and make your own original piece...this is a tremendously popular class with wonderful results.
