Simple Sample of Christmas or Advent Hanging

Two days to make a small quilt or wallhanging, inspired by old samplers and Christmas traditions, this includes applique and stitching, naive pictures and buttons. Or make an Advent calender with a window to open each day culminating in the house front door on Christmas Day, instead of sweets I am hoping to find old or get Steve to make little animals for the pockets, either copy mine or use as inspiration but full pattern available, with time between days for sewing, mine is machine quilted.
