Mandy Pattullo

Mandy Pattullo is based in beautiful Northumberland, working from a sunny studio in a converted manse. She originally trained as a surface pattern designer and has worked in industry and taught in schools and colleges.

She now pursues her "thread and thrift" approach almost full time while still juggling part time work in a secure setting, teaching all over the UK and abroad, and producing work for exhibition and sale. Much of her hand stitched work is about treasuring the old and worn and refashioning vintage textiles into new collages.
