10:00am - 4:00pm

A new design similar to the first apple quilt is in the making, as most of you know apples are a very special part of the farm and Steve’s love of the cider making, since I made the first quilt there has been much renewed interest in country life and cider making apple harvest etc. I love all the old tools and traditions, also the special spring time with the first apple blossom, it is such a signal of the new year and renewed life, the happy little bees etc. We are so lucky to live in a peaceful inspiring place and this quilt tries to capture and keep the special moments.  You could always make the central part only, which is 15” square if you don’t want to make the full quilt, or just appliqué a basket of apples if you want a small project.  I really prefer hand needle turn appliqué but if you prefer you can use bondaweb.   A new small quilt in a simpler version is also available for those wishing for a quicker project.

This year I will also have a new wobbly log cabin apple quilt available which is a great way to use up scraps.
