Appliqué Appliqué!

Two new quilts! ‘Autumn Dancing with Daisies’ & ‘Noah’s Quilt’ or even an Apple Quilt. If you are new to appliqué come and learn my template free method and start on a simple quilt or if in need of a challenge now is the time! The emphasis will be on hand heirloom appliqué. Mr Noah’s quilt is made especially for my new nephew, you can copy the design or customise as desired.
STUDENT REQUIREMENTS
• Either approx. 1.5 – 2.0 metres background fabric like calico (if you would like your background all matching) or a selection of off-white, tea dyed, calico, linen or small print calico, to build up as you go.
• Selection of oldie red fabrics or what ever colour selection you would like could be multi coloured, prints checks etc approx. half fat Q per house, or different colour for roof and house, mix and match.
• Basic sewing kit – tracing paper, pens, pencils, black felt pen, etc
• Roll of imperial graph paper (available from Bricknells, Launceston, Bodmin)
• Embroidery threads, that you have already
• Photos of house or children or whatever you would like to use.
• Sewing machine (optional), as can all be hand sewn
• Project already started to continue.
