Cock-A-Doodle-Doo!

Ellen & Helen will help you to make these wonderful little cockerels or hens.  You can create your own wonderful characters! Pattern included in fee. Legs need to be bought on the day £5 per bird! 

Students requirements

• Sewing machine & Basic sewing kit
• Long needle. Small black beads or buttons for eyes
• Scissors, Paper & Card for template (a cereal packet will do)
• Fabrics:
• 3/4m for body
• 3 half metres of a co-ordinated fabric for tails & wings
• 1/2m cotton wadding
• 1/4m Yellow/Gold fabric for legs, feet & beak
• 3/4m Calico for lining
• Odd pieces of Red fabric (felt/flannel) for comb & wattles
• Polyester Stuffing – a pillow is fine
• Linen thread for binding legs
• Wire for Legs and Tails will be available to buy on the day for a small charge
