Numbers will be kept to a maximum of 10 students so that everyone will have a lot of individual attention. A five day workshop (includes lunch) designed to help you achieve the next level in your quilt making journey. Come with a new project, a work in progress or just a stack of fabrics! Explore a wide range of techniques (to include piecing, appliqué and free-motion quilting) and investigate the principles of design and composition to include the use of colour, print and tonal value.

Each morning join Philippa for a formal lesson on a range of topics (both technical and design led in nature) then spend the late mornings and afternoons working on your individual project with Philippa always available to assist with ideas, compositions and technical problem solving. The emphasis is on helping you achieve your creative goals in a relaxed but productive environment. Immerse yourself in your work without the distractions of everyday life. This stimulating environment will lead to creative outcomes beyond all previous quilt making.

On the Thursday night there will be a group meal in Cowslip Café (included in price). Lunches are also included.

Philippa will finish teaching at 4pm but you are welcome to stay on and work in the barn till 9pm!
