Dancing around the Christmas Tree
This single panel is free-motion embroidered but can be hand embroidered if preferred as
some of the motifs are very small. It is stitched in 1 piece and backed with a festive red and white gingham check. The central image of dancing around the Christmas tree depicts a traditional Danish Christmas.
Student requirements
- sewing machine with, feed dogs down (instruction manual) and embroidery/darning free motion foot
- sewing kit
- pencil and paper
- selection of festive fabrics, red & white gingham, sparkly fabric (available from the shop)
- background fabric
- Stitch & Tear
- Aurifil 80 thread and size 60 machine needles (available from the shop)
- Make sure your electrical equipment (sewing machine) has been recently PAT tested.

PLEASE if you are unwell and/or presenting with Covid symptoms or coming from a household where
anyone has symptoms or a positive test you must not come to your class. You will not be penalised
and we will keep a credit for you to use another time.
All students will have their temperature taken before entry to the classroom and need to sign a form.
Sanitisers are to be used on entry to classroom, shop and café and are available on all tables.
Students are to bring their own cup.
You must bring all your own equipment as there will be no sharing of anything to avoid cross contamination.
QR code can be scanned on site for those with the NHS Track & Trace app.
Face masks or coverings must be worn at all times in the classroom. We do have face shields for £2.50.
