Embellished Christmas Blocks Workshop

On this workshop there will be a selection of pre-printed Christmas block designs for you to choose from. They’ll be available in a variety of colours - traditional & alternative - & on different fabrics. Each print measures approx. 8cm x 8cm & you will have the opportunity to embellish & make them into a variety of things such as greetings cards, bunting, cube box & hangings. You can embellish the prints any way you like using different threads, yarns, felt, beads etc. & there will be full instructions available to take away & demonstrations given for all items.

The prints cost £1.00 each & you can purchase as many as you like. There will also be a 9 block printed panel available which is perfect for a cushion. These prints measure 25cm x 25cm & cost £15.00 each. All payments for these items on the workshop need to be made to Louise direct please.

Requirements:-

Basic sewing kit

Light weight iron-on interfacing (to back your print)

You can use a variety of items to embellish your print, here's a list of suggestions:-

Felt

Fabric scraps – plain or patterned

Ribbon/lace

Threads & yarns – all thicknesses

Beads

Buttons & anything else you want to bring along!

Also handy:-

Bond-a-web/freezer paper

Pencil

Disappearing fabric pen

Sewing Machine:-

You're very welcome to use your sewing machine to add details & embellishments too.

It’s not very often that you will finish your embellished print on the workshop but if you do, you will need a sewing machine to make your panel into a hanging.

Louise will have a selection of felt, threads & embellishments available to purchase on the workshop.
