Exploring White - Christmas Angel Panel
Working from a choice of two original designs, for which ready-cut templates will be provided, you will make a panel featuring an ethereal Angel, using precious vintage and antique textiles, whitework and laces. You will embellish the Angel with machine and hand embroidery, and then create a surround of delicate, layered textiles, pieced embroidered and quilted. You might add a little paint, type or embroider some text, creating an heirloom piece to keep or give. The finished size of the panel will be approximately 35-40 cm square.
Due to the nature of the materials, a supplementary charge of £20 will be payable on the day, direct to the tutor.
