Maling Road

A brand new quilt to start!  Hot off the press, Di has just finished the beautiful new quilt.

It will be an English Frame style quilt with a bit of everything…Appliqué including Broderie Perse and piecing including English Paper Piecing with lots of fussy cutting. It will be in the very “scrappy” style that Di loves and is definitely her trademark!

Student Requirements

You will need your basic sewing kit including small sharp scissors, appliqué pins and a selection of fine appliqué threads.

The quilt is inspired by my Rotherfield Greys quilt from my first book ...so English Frame Quilt in style . Very scrappy that’s why it will be easy to use bits from your stash if needed . 

The requirements are for the whole quilt which will be about 70” to 75” square

# the last one could also be the red or blue colourway ... whichever you prefer .

Then 30cm of all the others . 
There will more than likely be leftovers of some of them but I will bring some other ideas with me for suggestions of what else you can do .
