Memory Clothes Quilt

£95.00

2 Days

Sat, 1st April, 2017 to Sun, 2nd April, 2017

10:00am - 4:00pm

Ever wondered what to do with all those gorgeous cute babygrows and tiny clothes you couldn’t bear to throw away! Having had 25 years experience as a Fashion Designer Gail now takes great delight in cutting up clothes and recycling them into keepsakes and will help you Design your own unique quilt full of special memories. Too daunting a project? Then come and make a cushion or wallhanging to give as a special present. During this two day workshop  Gail will show you how to Design your quilt to make a feature of your favourite clothes utilizing logos, motifs, pockets and all those special little details. The hard work for this project is all in the planning so the more you can think about how you want it to look the more you’ll achieve in the two days and the faster you’ll get on to the fun part of cutting and piecing together! Lay them all out on a bed and play around. If you can take photos with your iPad or camera that’s a good way to try out different layouts.
