Moondog or Moonlight Hunter

Come along to Cowslip and create this lovely wintery scene with Brenda Thomas.

Brenda will provide a kit, with a pattern and all the fabrics you need at a cost of £15, payable on the day. The background is made using curved piecing. Then the trees are fused in place before stitching. This 12” square piece can be finished to be hung as it is or mounted on a 16” square artists’ canvas.

Requirements list

Sewing machine with ability to drop the feed dogs, embroidery foot

Scissors for paper and fabric

A variety of threads, if possible, to include a shiny white and the smokey invisible thread.

(There will be suitable threads for you to use if you find you don’t have the right ones with you on the day.)
