Paint into Stitch - Landscapes

£150.00

2 Days

Sat, 13th July, 2019 to Sun, 14th July, 2019

10:00am - 4:00pm

Using silk paints and beautiful threads, you will create an embroidered landscape: perhaps the view from your home, or on a favourite walk. Caroline will bring plenty of inspiration, as well as some printed designs for you to work from if you prefer not to draw your own. This workshop is suitable for all levels of ability, including beginners. As with all of Caroline’s classes, the embroidery is not about learning lots of different stitches, but using the simplest stitches like a pencil and the threads as your box of colours. Painting on linen is addictive and this workshop will give you the confidence to use it as part of your embroidery.
