Painting the Light. Catching the Moment
Watercolour is the best medium for catching fast moving weather and light. It dries quickly, is transparent and can be layered with great effect.
We will work on this layering to create shadows, depth and movement.
Shadows also define the 3 dimensional reality of still lives and portrait studies.
So .. lots of quick exercises in light, contrast and shadow and how to build up a finished picture.
