A Simple Jubilee Celebration

Come and have a laugh preparing for a street party, bunting, table throw, or simple quilt using the Union Jack to celebrate 70 glorious years of our wonderful Queen .

I have made lovely floral bunting and cushions and so has Helen. We will show you tips and techniques of making cushions, quilts and bunting. I am going to try and finish my picnic quilt ready to show you and am going to put waxed cotton on the back to make it more suitable for a picnic, plus a few little ideas of how to decorate the table with flowers and jam jars etc...

Requirements

Bring any available floral, stripe, spots, red, white and blue or any colours you like which can also be recycled clothing as long as they are strong.

Sewing machine and all its bits and instruction book

Cutting equipment, thread and basic sewing kit, any pictures or ideas, I have saved pictures of the queen with her horses to use as quilting patterns.
