Tulipa

Tulipa is based on a cradle quilt made by Rebecca Kohler, 1832 Pennsylvania. Taken from the book Quilts in America by Patsy and Myron Orlofsky.

In this workshop students focus on the centre block and learn how to:

Prep applique shapes using a lightbox

Gluing all pieces to the background block.

Needleturn techniques including reverse applique, circles.

Correctly use your Clover bias maker for stems.

Play with paper pieced stars using the English Paper Piecing method using glue.
