George And The Donkey from Lynette Anderson - New Mystery Button Club Block of The Month

Approx. finished size 36” x 36” A delightful thatched cottage tucked behind a stone wall, an apple tree filled with juicy red ripe embroidered apples, a sweet black Labrador named George and a little grey donkey. Let me introduce you to ‘George and The Donkey’, a seven part pattern set with techniques that include, applique, embroidery, simple piecing, Suffolk puffs (yoyo’s), wool applique and EPP (English Paper Piecing). This is a very scrappy quilt, I have chosen to make my quilt using fabrics from a huge variety of my fabrics from collections dating back several years.

This latest Button Club runs for 7 months starting in September 2022. There is only 1 beautiful Handpainted button which comes with Block 1 only.
