If you choose to take all 3 workshops there will be a reduction so the total will be £700 instead of £750. Kits are included in the price as is the talk on Friday 10th at 6pm.
Antique Boro Stitched Panel
Using antique French fabric, and FG fabric, we will hand-stitch a boro-inspired panel that can be sewn into a quilt, framed or used to make a small textile book cover. Techniques include: boro patching, fussy cutting, color blending, composition, raw-edge or turned appliqué, embroidery embellishments and sashiko stitching. If you want to add in self-binding, we can add that in as well?
FG Kit Includes: FG Sashiko base, antique quilt piece, antique French scraps, FG scraps, Wonderfuse, embroidery floss, FG fat quarter for backing. Photos are just examples, kits will be made with the new collections.
Additional Materials Needed: scissors, iron and pressing pad, parchment paper, needles and sewing thread, thin cotton batting
