Christmas Angel

On this two day workshop we will make a Christmas angel, like those Caroline used to make and which were available only to commission. Working with a angel body designed by Caroline Zoob, and patterns created in collaboration with Becky Stephens, we will use vintage and antique textiles to create angelic apparel, featuring lace, slow stitching, hand embroidered text. Her hair will be made of silk threads, and her little shoes of antique silk. Her wings will be a project in themselves and the finished result will be a precious heirloom to keep and treasure. You will also have the opportunity, at the same time as making the wings, to decorate the box in which she will live from January to November.

This is a one-off workshop and will not be repeated, so early booking is advised. Due to the materials required, a materials charge of £25, to include the angel body and all fabrics for creating her apparel and wings, will be payable on the day to Caroline.
