Dancing with Daisies
When the blue Heartswood fabric arrived in the shop I just knew what I would use it for, Dancing with Daisies makes me feel so Happy. You can either copy my pattern or use as inspiration, I have used hand needle turn appliqué but you can bond if preferred and then either hand or machine blanket stitch or straight stitch. I am now starting a more autumnal version keeping the basic design but with the addition of pieced houses and more animals and cow parsley. This is suitable for experienced or those wishing to learn appliqué you can just start with a simple daisy. Hand appliqué does take time but I find it so relaxing and rewarding it makes a real family heirloom
I have used blue/ grey and white daisies for the first quilt but it could be another colour theme, I am using more autumnal with the blue landscape for autumn
