The Patterned Landscape - Collage Workshop

Choosing from a selection of pre-printed designs you will be able to create your own patterned landscape panel. The prints will be available in a variety of colours & you can make your final design as large or small as you like. The designs can be embellished completely by hand or machine if you prefer & your completed panel could be made into a variety of things such as a wall hanging, cushion or book cover, instructions for which will be provided on the workshop.

Louise will bring along all the materials & threads needed on the day, which will be available to purchase, but you’re also welcome to bring along your own. The approx. cost of a small hanging will be £6.00, medium £8.00 - £10.00 & large £10.00 + Costs will be itemised on the day.

Requirements List

Basic sewing kit

Sewing machine - optional*

Threads, yarns, beads, buttons, sequins etc. Your choice of colours the individual prints will be available in a range of colours

Coloured felt to add decoration

Any embellishments you think you might like to add such as beads, buttons, lace etc.

Bond-a-web

Twine or ribbon if you’re making a hanging

*The panels/collage can be completely hand sewn but if you wish to use a machine for decorative stitching then please bring along your sewing machine. Some of the items such as a cushion, will need to be completed on a machine, but you may not reach this stage during the workshop.
