Worry Free at Cowslip

Following on from Petra and Judith's very popular 2 day class I am so delighted to Say Petra and Juud will return next June and offer a 4 day workshop as discussed. So... what to expect from this Worry Free at Cowslip?

On Monday June 17th you can settle in (this is a non tutored day so you're left to your own devices), catch up and breathe in that lovely Cornwall Air in a heavenly place for us quilters. You can even start sewing in the workshop space.  There will be a talk in the Barn at 6 pm with some different quilts from Petra’s antique, and reproduced collection. This talk is at no extra cost for you, but can be purchased at £10 for other quilters.

From Tuesday June 18th  to Friday June 21st

We will start on a new “on the go project” in the afternoon, of which there will be 2 to choose from. Just something you can take to a bee, sit and sew on the settee in the evenings. Templates for this fun little project will be included in a “Special Surprise Goodie Bag” organised by us.

As well as starting a new project Judith will demonstrate various appliqué techniques and tips, which she does in a totally different way to me.

After lunch there will be a show and tell with your quilts, so bring any current or finished projects for group discussion, Petra and Jo will give ideas and techniques, for adding borders different types of binding and quilting.

LOWER GOODMANSLEIGH OR ALI WERREN AT WATERLOO HAVE BARNS THAT COULD BE SHARED SO YOU CAN CONTINUE THE GROUP FEELING THROUGHOUT THE EVENING  but keeping the cost down.

Fee for this Worry Free Week is £550, which includes goodie bag, classes, lunches (not on the Monday), coffee, tea and afternoon cake or ice cream, Petra’s show and Tell.

Petra and Judith will have many new projects for you to work on, these are just a few in the making!!! You just bring your sewing basket!
